Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

What is the Section B Policies Package?

Section B covers the operational policies your RCFE must have on file and submit to CDSS. These are the written procedures that govern how your facility handles resident care, medication, emergencies, activities, and staff conduct. CDSS reviewers check these during initial licensing and subsequent inspections.

Are these policies compliant with current Title 22 regulations?

Yes. All policies are written to current California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 6 standards and reflect CDSS current guidance. We update policies when CDSS regulations change.

Can I purchase Section B without Section A?

Yes. You can purchase Section B independently if you already have your Section A forms or are updating policies for an existing license. However, for a new application, you need both sections plus the Plan of Operation.

What is the difference between Section B and the Full Application Package?

Section B ($999) is the policies portion only. The Full Application Package ($2,599) bundles Section A, Section B, the Plan of Operation, and the facility sketch, saving you $638 compared to buying each separately.

Do I need to customize these policies?

Yes. Each policy is a template you edit to reflect your specific facility name, address, staffing structure, and operational choices. The documents are in editable Word format with clear fill-in fields and instructions.
